Topical treatments that can be applied on the skin to treat the symptoms of acne include Benzoyl Peroxide and Retinoids. These products will kill acne bacteria and unblock the sebum glands pores and clear some of visible symptoms of acne.

However to cure acne for good, meaning to get rid of all the symptoms of the disorder and ensure they never reappear to haunt your life you must know how to to treat the condition in a holistic way. One must acknowledge that acne is not just a problem of the skin. The symptoms that appear on the skin is how acne is manifested. The only way acne can be cured for good is when the internal cause of the problem is dealt with.
