There are five food groups that we need to eat from everyday. Eating the right amount of foods from each food group will give your body the essential nutrients and energy you need for good health. The five main food groups that make up a balanced and healthy diet are fruits and vegetables, starchy foods, protein foods, and sugary and fatty foods.
We should eat more of the foods that provide us with healthy calories and essential nutrients for healthy living. We should eat most foods from the fruits and vegetables and starchy food groups. We should also eat some protein foods like milk, yoghurt, cheese, and meat. We should only eat small amounts of fats and foods containing sugar. It's also important to drink plenty of water for a healthy eating plan.
So basically once you balance your diet everyday by making sure to include the right amount of foods from each food group and you eat the right number of meals per day you'll be you'll be on the right path of eating healthy for a healthy life. In regards to quantity of meals and how you should distribute food groups across your meals each day depends on each person's individual circumstances.
